NY Tea
After hearing the new craze of bubble tea,
we knew we had to try it. Upon our first taste of bubble tea, we knew it was
for us. Unfortunately, one of our favourite little luxuries of Zurich, Sabotai
Bubble Tea, has closed down due to being in a location not easily available for
most people. Not too worry, we found another shop called NY Tea which sells
just as good, if not better tasting bubble tea. It is located just outside of
Stadelhofen, a train station near to Bellevue, making it an easily accessible
quick stop on your way to catch your train. You can drink bubble tea cold in
the summer and hot in the winter. You can choose from normal tea flavours such
as Green Tea but can also drink it in fruit flavours such as Mango or berry. If
you’re not a fan of bubble tea, you can buy regular freshly brewed tea or milk
teas with condensed milk such as Chai or Frappe. If you are wondering what
exactly bubble tea is, it is a tea drink with small spheres shaped as bubbles.
You are served a drink with a large straw so the bubbles which are filled with
flavour, can be sucked up and pop once in your mouth, leaving you with an
unforgettable flavour.

Brandy Melville
A major problem in Zurich is the shopping
is either extremely high-end and expensive or bad quality and cheap and there’s
not much in between. One new store that was originally opened in America has
recently opened a store in Zurich. This store is called Brandy Melville and is
located lakeside, near to Bellevue. From the outside it may appear small but
once inside it a multi-floored building full with fashionable and inexpensive
clothing. It is perfect for summer shopping and sells clothes that fit in with
the latest fashion trends such as high-waisted shorts and crop-tops. You can
purchase looks that celebrities such as Miranda Kerr, Selena Gomez, Miley
Cyrus, Paris Hilton and many others love. On our first trip to this store we
could not resist purchasing some new clothes that will be posted on the blog
for you to see. Visit Brandy Melville’s website: http://brandymelville.eu/ to see all the
amazing clothes and we know you will be getting out of the house as soon as
possible and heading out to this store. May is the best month to shop at Brandy
Melville to purchase clothing for the upcoming summer season. The store sells
most clothes in one-size-fits-most and therefore there is no need to be upset
if they don’t have your size because they always do. You will not be able to
resist buying clothes from Brandy Melville once inside the store and their perfect
fit will keep you coming back.
Yoo-Moo
One of our absolute favourite places to
visit in Zurich is Yoo-Moo! It has the best frozen yogurt that we have ever
tasted and its 100% fat free. It’s a small shop located on a side street
leading from Bahnhofstrasse (the main shopping street in Zurich) across from
Kaufleuten. You take a cup and can fill it up with as much yogurt as you want,
with flavours ranging from the natural yogurt flavour, to chocolate, vanilla,
strawberry and a surprise flavour that always changes. Once you have your yogurt you make your way to a counter filled with a huge variety of choices
for toppings. You can go for the healthy option and fill up your cup with
fruits or if you’re in the mood for something extra sweet you can put some of
the many chocolate, candy or cookie options. Then you take your cup to the
counter, they weigh it for you and give you a price depending on the weight. You
take a spoon and dip into the most delicious frozen yogurt You are given a
card and you stamp it each time you buy a Yoo-Moo and after purchasing 5, you
get one for free!
